An Introduction

The Asociacion De Arte y Cultura Marbella is a private, non-profit initiative created in order to actively contribute to the support of arts and culture. Our aim is to help all citizens and visitors to the Costa del Sol enjoy the rich and diverse cultural heritage and the vitality of creation. ACM organises cultural trips (national and international), guided visits and social activities that will bring together like-minded people of all nationalities who believe in the need for the promotion of arts and culture.

ACM was founded in September 2004 by Lorraine Powell (President) and Angela Behrendt and is a registered national non-profit institution funded by private sectors under Organic Law 1/2002 and Decree 152/2002. This entitles ACM to act as a legal entity. According to its Statutes, the institution's aim is to promote, develop and perform social and cultural activities.

We are socially active and enjoy monthly cocktails and dinners. ACM has organised many events and trips in the past including Concerts, Cultural Trips encompassing the cultural heritage of Spain; Russia - Moscow and St.Petersburg; Florence; Vienna; Music and Dance Festivals in Spain and Italy and Morocco.

Wine Tastings and Cocktail evenings.

ACM also promotes events and lectures organised by other entities for the interest and enjoyment of members.
